Today, most people associate the term membership with paying dues, meaningless rituals, silly rules and handshakes and having your name on some dusty roll. Paul, however had a different image of membership. To him, being a member of the church did not refer to some cold induction into an institution but rather it meant becoming a vital organ of a living body (Rom 12:4-5, 1 Cor 6:15, 1 Cor 12:12-27). We need to reclaim this image. Any organ that is detached from the body will not only miss what it was created to be, it will also shrivel and die quickly. The same is true for Christians that are uncommitted to any specific congregation.

Fishes and Loaves Cooking Ministry	We are looking for people to help run ourkitchen activities Catering for church events during the year	Be on an e-mail roster system for events. Reply availabilty for events when e-mail sent out. New Christians Baptisms	We are looking for an individual or a couple to coordinate Church Service baptisms	Be available to coordinate 4 baptisms per year Be able to delegate different responsibilities for each baptism	Good organisational skills Enjoys teaching others Enjoys meeting and encouraging others	Anton and Karen Gracey 9726 4201
New Christians Salvation Team	We are looking for mature Christians who are willing to spend time with people who respond to altar calls	Be available on a monthly roster Be available for both services when rostered on	Willing to lead someone to Christ Enjoys praying for people High level of confidentiality	Anton and Karen Gracey 9726 4201
Small groups	Looking for Small group leaders & Area leaders (descriptions on connect group page) also Host homes for group meetings	Regular attendee of Grace, prior experience an advantage but training & support provided. Stewards	To be a team member who helps prepare a welcoming and assists our Church Services & Sunday Café to operate Duties include: Preparation & serving of communion Preparation of Auditorium & Café Welcoming & ushering Collecting of tithes	Commitment Join one of 4 teams & be Rostered on every 6 weeks for 2 weeks at a time Choices of teams are: Two teams operate in 2 shifts, either star at 7.45 or 10am or Two teams start at 7.45 & do both services	A desire to serve Current Working with Children Check (We can help to obtain) Code of conduct	Phil & Marie Waite
